Once I heard of the website addressed www.neko.ca I felt quite interested. What kind of website is it? Is it really interesting and useful to be used as an aid for students to learn English? From his explanation, yeah! I mean Dr. Burn this website is cool enough to be used as a teaching tool for English teachers.
What www.neko.ca really is? Teaching aid for Canadian teachers to teach Japanese students? Yes, I think that is the right answer! From what I've been told. Once I explored it, there were so many items included that caught my attention. Brian and Neko's Place: Study English is an English fun teaching aid that full of excitement! With the games, quizzes, puzzles and activities.
It is so good to know students nowadays are exposed to a lot of functional teaching rather than the traditional way of pedagogy especially in English. As far as I know that this website is created for Japanese students who eager to learn English in Canada and I think it's good for both students and English teachers. This website also suitable for either primary schools or secondary schools and even kids. It provides a lot of grammar sections with interesting activities, games, quizzes and puzzles. For example, The Messy Room activity.
But unfortunately, this website is quite cultural specific, what I mean here is, it is exclusively for western students. There are a few of that specifically for them and not so appropriate for Malaysian students. For instance, games of the Halloween, hmm..if I'm not mistaken. We are not celebrating Halloween, right? Besides, in that Halloween sections, there are The Haunted House section which is not suitable for kids. Are we trying to frighten them of the ghosts or trying to teach them? How if, all of sudden, your student screams out of reason due to the activities? Just think of it for a second.
However, it is still a relevant website to be used in class teaching grammar and set of rules in English language. The teacher ought to be wised in deciding which part ought to be adapted and adopted to teach the second language learners. Wiser choices produce perfect outcomes.

Baju kurung_Kain perca
Assalamualaikum viewers!
The real name given is Siti Asiah binti Muhamad Subri. Most people called me Asiah. Just simple as that, no addition and what so ever! Do you know PUSRAWI Kuala Lumpur? I guess you know. On Monday of 21st September 1992, if I'm not mistaken, at 2.00 p.m I think, I was given birth.
Hmm...I don't wanna talk so much 'bout me. Yeah! Wait, wait! I guess you wanna know something more 'bout me, right? Okay, let me tell you a lil' bit of my interests. I wish that I can ride on a classic Vespa and drive a classic Mini Cooper or the vintage Volkswagen Beetle. Urgh! It's so hard to find one unless the replica that once I saw at Jonker Walk, Malacca with price tag on it, RM 30.00. That's my dream. I quite love to watch football and of course the EPL games, cheering for Liverpool team. Does it weird to see a sweet girl #(laugh out loud) like me walking or even running in baju kurung with my feet put on Converse? Hmm..maybe yes, maybe not.
My life lesson started when I was 4 to 6 years old at an Islamic kindergarten in Kulim, Kedah. I learned so many things that introduced me to Allah and guided my life to Islam. Recited Quran and daily Do'a, perform solah and basic things. I met friends, yup even not so close that you can referred as best friend forever. Then I went to SK Kulim from standard 1 to standard 3 and in the early year of 2001, March I think, I moved out to SK Lubuk Kawah, Lenggong Perak. What on earth the school's name is? So freakishly weird. The first time I heard the name, I thought that if I registered to that school I might be boiled in a big pot of hot water and soup made from my flesh plus with blood. Urgh! Gross! I sat for my UPSR in 2004 there and praised be to Allah, I passed with flying colors.
I then went to SMK Sultan Azlan Shah, waiting an offer to MJSC Transkrian in Penang. Once I got the offer, I packed my stuffs and registered at that school. But my life as student there didn't last longer. My parents made up their mind to take me out and sent me to MJSC Gerik Perak. Nearer to my hometown in Baling. I quite disagreed because I started to have friends. I rebelled. I did so many things to attract my parents' attention and told them via my behavior that I really hate that school. I skipped class, lied to teachers, refused to send the homework given and bla..bla..bla... Consequently, my achievement in exams dropped! Since that, my parents took me out from the school and registered me to SMK Syed Abu Bakar in Kupang, Kedah. After I got my PMR result excellently I transferred to SMK Baling and I got an offer to further my studies to SBPI Kubang Pasu in Science Arabic stream. But then I really couldn't catch up what have been taught especially in Additional Mathematics, Chemistry and Arabic language. So I moved out to SMK Syed Abu Bakar again.
Once I got my SPM result in 2010, yeah...with quite flying colours, I did apply for TESL foundation at UIA but unfortunately I didn't make it. But I did receive offers from matriculation and Diploma in Computer Science at UTM Jalan Semarak. I refused to go there. I made up my mind to further my studies in form six and sat for STPM in 2011. Right after I got result for STPM, I did apply for degree in TESL at UPM as the first choice and praised be to Allah, I got the offer to be one of the members in family of UPM TESL Spartans!
